We’ve spent a lot of time reviewing critical path and TM (Time+Motion). My background working in high volume product development and manufacture in UK, India and China, makes me constantly turn over ways of improving processes, and smoothing out difficult analogue delivery.
Often a smooth expensive residential build, hides micro surface finishing issues that make ‘clean edge’ sign painting very difficult… especially in adverse weather conditions.
In 2016 we started refining our brush design and paint mixes.
This was a major breakthrough for us because it streamlined the ‘tradition’ and made install painting faster and far more accurate.

So we can now slick up the smoothest, glass-like letters anywhere around town no matter the surface!
PAINT TECHNOLOGY: POSITIVE CHANGES
The paints we use are also the very best: Craftmaster and One Shot sign enamels are our go to, and our constant demands have involved their product development staff in creating specialist products, including durability/toughening additives for us.
STYLE+DESIGN+OPTIONS CREATES COST SAVINGS
Toughened paint formulations (include Mylands, Zinsser and Bedec), set apart our glass window, sign gilding durability and extra exposure, along with ultra flow sign enamels for rough cement facades.
Extra opacity durable pigments adds extra value to projects and saves on material costs – the job gets done in single or double coats with far stronger.
