Introduction: By eye by hand by heart
Seraina and I were talking about our process last night and we found a few things that stood out after excavating what been happening positively to our ‘roll through’ that makes us stand out, over the past half decade.
Firstly is the whole concern we have for what the client wants to achieve the rooted core and heart of the matter. It is a genuine concern centred around curiosity and interest in the client we are encountering. The first encounter we have we see as some kind of a special gift… usually a serendipity moment. Not to put too finer edge to this: it is something we often sit down with and glance at the heavens with a nod and thanks. Our procurement process comes from belief, focus and the odd meditative based prayer.
Chatting with Oli Taylor of SURETECH recently about this and I fully aspire to his observations: ‘’I have struggled with the right way to describe what it is we are giving them without saying “solutions”. Last night it came to me and it’s so simple.
We are not just selling on products, we are providing assurance’’.
Firstly is the whole concern for what the client wants to achieve, the rooted core and heart of the matter remains foremost and omnipresent as we set out charting the design journey.
Then we have our field work and mindful curiosity research – which signifies and starts concept development stages. Perhaps research is an all too drier name for these times spent bumping into gold nuggets on the side streets and backwaters of our sorties across towns on projects, surveys, café hunts, soirees and installations.
Those two factor spectrums of client needs and concept development feed far deeper than out competition and because it is always client based it enriches relevance.

But at this point we have an extra layer of ‘finishing’
The finishing process includes design refinement.
Every step of the way reverts into these ‘rooms’ – the designs themselves constantly tested and re worked for each client bespoke scenario need.
So the process has extra components that make up the chain and constellation characteristics of SURETECH and NGS – some are clearly denoted most are churning within the swirl of constant intuitive and mindful change: additionally the new venture design mirrors reflect and add to the desire for more proofing, knowledge and search based interface – it’s a powerful approach ‘multi faceted and Clear Spore design’.
