CASE 3:

TRANSFORMATION Of

THE GLOBE PUB, MARYLEBONE.

CRAFTING TRANSFORMATION

On my first site visit the place was on its knees literally… but it had a great aspect and huge professional local community, crying out for something cool, and full of euro vibes and tastes.

The interior was ‘all bar’ so I decided to make lighting/lanterns a real new feature with some rich ghost signs echoing the place’s pulse and accent.

All the hand painted external Type came from London Caslon heritage but with some French sans serif twists added in with gentle extends and bold ‘Olive’ shaped O and G characters. The open kerning gave it that cool Shoreditch vibe and voila!
