Looking after Gold leaf signage on glass –

‘SPECIALIST PRODUCT = SPECIALIST CARE’

• NGS completely ban the use of domestic cleaners and
• NO RUBBER BLADES.

We recommend the following cleaning procedure:

• After sign is completed do not touch for 14-21 days in order to allow complete curing of gold size and any backing.

• NGS use microfiber or feather dusters to pre-clean glass gilding and surface gilding.

• Moisten clean: with new microfiber cloth moisten with water and white vinegar mix (10%)

• Do not use excessive pressure
• Do not use dirty cloths
• Do not over saturate

DO NOT USED INDUSTRIAL WINDOW CLEANER BRUSHES OR RUBBER BLADES

We also recommend:

• Additional pencil varnish clear coat applied 7-14 days after gilding process.
• BOOK AN NGS bi-annual maintenance program.
