60 miles from the nearest beach but people flock there because it breathes fresh air into their day.

TRANSFORMATION

THE GLOBE PUB, MARYLEBONE.

TRANSFORMATION

On my first site visit the place was on its knees literally… but it had a great aspect and professional local community crying out for something easy, and full of cool vibes and tastes.

The interior was ‘all bar’ so I decided to make lighting/lanterns a real new feature with some rich ghost signs echoing the place’s pulse and accent.

All the hand painted external Type came from London Caslon heritage but with some French sans serif twists added in with gentle extends and bold ‘Olive’ shaped O and G characters. The open kerning gave it that cool Shoreditch vibe and voila!
